About Us

Welcome to Existence Pentecostal Church of God Inc. In 2021, Existence PCOG was founded by Pastor Calvin T Wilson, Sr. and his wife, Dr. Lisa Wilson. After years of faithful service at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church of God Inc. in Camden, Delaware, under the leadership of the late Bishop Joseph P. Cooper Sr., the Lord placed Existence in the hands of Pastor Wilson. On February 21, 2021, Existence held their first service in their home in Felton, Delaware. The message was entitled, “Reaching Beyond Your Grasp: Get in the Jesus Space.”

Matthew 20:28 states, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give His life as a ransom for many.” At Existence PCOG, “We exist to serve.”

We invite to join us in this noble journey.

Our Founder

Elder Calvin T. Wilson Sr.

Calvin is the son of the late David L. Wilson and the late Vallare K. Price.  He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1987 and is a decorated member of the United States Marine Corps, having served in Southwest Asia during the Persian Gulf War.

Elder Wilson was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church of God in Camden, DE.  He served under the leadership of Pastor Joseph P. Cooper Jr. and the late Bishop Joseph P. Cooper Sr.  During his service at Emmanuel, he has served with the Transportation Department, the Men’s Choir, the Emmanuel Divine Gospel Mass Choir, the Deacons Department, the Sunday School Department Superintendent, and Ministerial Staff.

Elder Wilson has been employed with the State of Delaware for 23 years.  He holds an Associates degree from Delaware Technical and Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University. Currently, he is pursuing a Masters degree from Regent University in Theology.

Elder Wilson would like you to know that he is Saved, Sanctified, Holy Ghost-filled and Fire-Baptized, and he is running for his life!

Elder Wilson is husband to the amazing Dr. Lisa M. Wilson.  The Lord has blessed them with three wonderful children: two sons, Calvin Tyrone Wilson Jr. and Stephen Micaiah Wilson; one daughter, Simone Alyssa Wilson and one handsome grandson, Gavin Alexander Benoit-Wilson, and one 4-legged friend, Samson.

Our First Lady

Dr. Lisa Wilson

Lisa Wilson is the oldest of four children entrusted to the late Lawrence and Callou Bowden.  In 1978 the family moved from Norwalk, Connecticut to Camden, Delaware.  Little did they know what God had in store for them.  In that same year, the family was introduced to her parents in the Gospel, the late Bishop Joseph P. Cooper, Sr. and his loving wife, the late Mother Gloria I. Cooper.  Lisa dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at the age of 13 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost the following year.  As she sat under the ministry teachings, preaching, love, and encouragement she steadily grew in the Lord.

Dr. Wilson worked faithfully in the church, serving as an usher, Sunday School teacher, choir member, Scholarship President and Youth President.  Lisa was licensed as a Missionary in 2001.  She served at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church of God, Inc. for over 30 years.

Under the guidance of her former pastor, Bishop Joseph Cooper, Sr., Dr. Wilson began her second career as a public high school business teacher. The Lord has blessed her to serve as an Education Associate at the Delaware Department of Education where she manages business, finance, and marketing programs. She completed her Doctorate degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Technology from the University of Delaware. She aspires to write Christian curriculum, establish a Christian education ministry at Existence PCOG, and start a school.

Dr. Wilson humbly accepted the call as the First Lady of Existence Pentecostal Church of God.  She looks forward to serving God’s people with her husband, Pastor Wilson.  To God be all the glory for the great things He has done.
